cant add new script ...help

i was adding a new cdn and it gave error modify the config/historical stats to add more..so i increased it from 20 to 30 ...and added cdn #21 ok..but when i changed the field it gave errorrequired system database size exceeds actual database may need to be increased contact customer service..
so thinking i was in the clear i go to add script #21
nope..cant get to add another record and no error pops up..
what should i do other than contact vendor...
 
You will need to reduce the amount of data you are collecting so there is enough room for the historical database. The quickest way is usually to reduce the number of days you are storing interval or daily data (they require the most space).

Caveat: When you reduce the space (click the calculator button to make sure you have reduced the required size to less than actual) and save, that data is gone. You should check with the call center staff to make sure they have the data or run reports before you update the historical database limits.
 
Applications aren't licensed, assuming it's a Symposium 5 or CC6 then you get 500 applications i.e. primary scripts. It's actually 505 but the system needs a minimum of 5. The answer lies in frigging about with the historical stats config.
 
it is cc6 and I do not see a script limit
only I increased cdn limit and the script limit did move in direct relation
 
Yeah, I was mistaken. After looking at my configs today, I would have to agree with gadget though, I think it is probably an issue with Historical config.
