Can't add a Sybase Stored Procedure

I have a problem that I have been trying to solve for several days. I am using crystal reports 8.5 and sybase 11.9 (I know it is old). If I create a new report and try to add a sybase stored procedure to it in the user test datbase, it adds it without a problem. However, when I try to add the same or any stored procedure to a new report in the production database I get an error stating "optional feature not implemented. Error in parameter 1." I have 3 parameters that I pass, one int and two chars.

When I try to run a new report in crystal XI, again I could add a stored procedure fine in the user test database, but when I try to add the exact same stored procedure with the three parameters, I get a different error message "database connector error :22018, implicit conversion from datatype varchar to int is not allowed. use the convert function."

This of course makes no sense because it works fine in the user test database. The only thing I could think of is that the rights are somehow different for the stored procedures in the user test database versus the production database.

Can anyone think of any other reason for this to be happening?

Thanks,

Mark
