Can't access the network when dialing in from Win2K Pro

I have a Windows NT server and I am attempting to access it with my Win2K Pro computer at home. WINS is running on the server and I have specified the WINS address on the Win2k Pro. When I dial in and try to access the server resources it says "The network path was not found." I can ping the server ip address fine.

I currently have the wrong domain name assigned to the Win2K computer so I am assuming that that is the problem. When I attempt to change the domain name the message appears: "The specified domain either does not exist or cannot be contacted." It seems that I have a Catch 22 here. How can I specify the domain name if I am not on the network?

Thanks!
