I have a strange problem. I have XP SP2 with Office XP.
I have some users that can access a database but others that can not. The permissions are correct. They are all in the same group that allows permissions. Currently we have 2 users that can not access the database. They get a "can access the drive" message. One of these users could get to it one day, then not the next, then they could the following day, but not the day after that. The database does open when I try it from her machine (as admin). The database is on a network share. I have uninstalled and reinstalled office, installed the updates, etc. No luck. I am at a loss as to what to do next. Any suggestions? The user can access the database from a different machine and logging in as themselves.

Can the user (following an error message) find the folder in Windows Explorer and then create a text file in the folder?
