Can't access site using HTTP, must use HTTPS for first site access

Whenever I access my site for the first time, using HTTP (

http://www.mysite.com),

I get the error: "The Page Cannot Be Displayed". But, if I access the site using HTTPS everything works fine. Once the site has been accessed using HTTPS, I am able to access the site using HTTP.

Any ideas on what may be causing this? Why the site must first be accessed using HTTPS?

This could be related to a # of things such as your firewall or IIS. Can you access ur website locally?
