Hi All,

We currently have an NT domain, and have recently installed some NAS servers running 2003 Appliance Server.

We have moved the shared data from our PDC to the NAS box and users cannot access the shares on the NAS box.

I have given Domain Users full control over the share, and in the security, they are set up exactly as they were on the PDC (we used Robocopy) but unless the user is an administrator, they are unable to access the data.

The 2003 box is on the same domain, but when I try to check the effective rights, the rights cannot be determined.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance, Andy

Just a thought but verify certain things:

1) 2K3 server IP address in the NT DNS Manager.
2) On your 2K3 server, add the NT DNS address in your TCP/IP settings.

What is the exact error message? Access denied or Unable to connect to share?
