I suddenly can't access any items such as accounts in vanguard or any secure items. If I try to get to hotmail I get a blank screen showing page is done loading, a totally white page. Spoke with comcast cable provider and they walked me through some changes in security settings and a download of java to no avail. Then they suggested I re-load ie6, which I downloaded but when I try to install it states I have a newer version and it can't load. I used removal to remove ie and on reboot it doesn't show as a program I have to remove but still can't install new ie6. I am thinking this issue is beyond that anyway, as I also have no system restore. If I choose it it just comes up as a white empty box. Same with user accounts, an empty white box. Sigh. Any ideas? I just upgraded to xp and all was well earlier today. Should I re-install xp on top of this installation?

Have a look at this thread608-614334 and be sure to read the threads that are linked in that one.

I can't use the link, just one of the many things that won't work! Is there another way to access this? Thanks!!

Thanks for the help, that ie explorer repair fixed all issues and saved me from re-install of xp!
