Can't access published applications on Citrix Server

Hi all,

I have a number of users who are at site1 and access the Citrix Server at site2. There is no connection issues, there is a hardware VPN and I get remote desktop to each server from either site.

The problem is when users at site1 attempt to access published applications at site2. Basically they get the desktop ok but when they double click on application nothing happens. The server has been rebooted and the applications have been republished but still the same problem.

I am on site tomorrow to check the server over, any ideas what the issue might be?

So your users (site1) launch a "Desktop" Published application (site2) and then launch an application in the desktop?

Is this correct?

Yes I believe this to be the case but untill I go to site tomorrow I can't be certain

I have now notied the XTE Service will not start.

It is set to manual but when I try and start it, it fails.

Do I need this service running?
