Can't access my companies website( from remote location. Just had direcway installed because are old dial-up was too slow.DSL not valilable ugh! We use internet connection to access server at company HQ utilizing terminal services. I can access other https sites but not ours. Cannot find any doc's explaining any special router setup for Linksys router at HQ.

You need to forward port 3389 through the router to your LAN IP. This is true even if using the web access method of TS.

Thanks I forgot to check that. I checked and it was set as so. To further elaborate on the problem: An employee who has a 4000 series Dway system is able to log on to secure site. The ping fails (employee.firstresponder.com if anyone else wants to try). The webpage itself trys to load but hangs with no conclusion ( have tried all the different proxy settings and DNS configs but to no avail. Any other help would be appreciated.

The #1 reason for this problem is that they date and time are not set correctly on the computer.

The #2 reason is that the cookie handling is set too strictly.

Assuming these items are in order, see:

I tried all of the above, no change. One other item is that on the same pc through a 56k dial up, I can access this secure site. Do you think it is specific with Direcway's system?

Finally found out what was wrong. Adjusted MTU on router from 1500 to 1400. Will adjust MTU until it is optimal

We are still having problems. Fortunately, we have dtermined that it is not a https (secure) problem, but rather a terminal emulation problem. One application is accessed remotely through terminal server. When logged in, there is about a 3 second delay in the keyboard commands and viewing those commands on the screen.
