Previously I had access to my Dyamics tables using Crystal Reports (8.5). Then a while back we had a version update for Dynamics (To 6.00g52). My previous tables were accessed like the example below.
Table: Caltc.dbo.SOP30300
Server Type: ODBC-CALTECH
Server Name: dynsql
Database: master
User ID: XXXX
After the update this path no longer led to the tables I was used to seeing but to other information such as:
master.dbo.MSreplication_otions
master.dbo.spt_committab
An outside computer support person has me accessing the tables as follows:
Table: CALTC.dbo.30300
Server Type: ODBC-CALTC
Server Name: CALTC
Database: CALTC
User ID: XXXX
Unfortunately before they left we did not verify that I could actually get information from the tables only that they were visible to me.
So now when I build a report using these table I access NO information. I am very discouraged and would like to fix this problem on my own with someones help of course.
Is there something I can do (or am not doing correct)or is it going to be necessary to call back in computer support?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Debbie R
