We have a Contivity 2700 that seems to loose management access via the web once a month or so. A reset of the box recovers the access. Nortel hasn't been able to tell me why this is happening. Has anyone seen this and/or know why this might be happening?
I should have been more specific. I am trying to manage the switch via GUI browser interface. When I console into the box I get a "phthon" error every time I try to run a command. The box itself is up. All our Branch Office tunnels are running fine. Like I said we have always had to reset the box to clear this in the past. We are running code v4.80.124.
We are not running NTP. However I am going to try and upgrade the code tonight to v4.85.200. Hopefully this will resolve some of the other issues we have been seeing.
