Can't access an mdc file with powerplay Excel

After installing pp macro for excel, unable to open an mdc file. Only the prompt for ppx report is available.
Excel 2000 SR1
Powerplay 7.1 mr2

This problem appears only on few PC, mine is ok for exemple (same versions)

nous avons installé la macro popaerplay pour Excel. a L'ouverture, seule la selection "ouvrir un fichier ppx" est disponible. pas possible d'ouvrir un cube (local ou remote)

Le probleme n'apparait pas sur tous les postes

Tell more exactly what happens. Is PPXLServer.xla checked in Excel add-ins dialog? How the mdc was referenced when the excelworkbook has been crated (with what path to mdc) or is it PPES remote cube ?

Cognos'Tech. support gave me the solution yesterday :

This is controlled by Local=1 under the [PowerPlay Server List] section in the cer3.ini.

So I had to put this new line on my file.
