I have a 2000 server (SP2) (its part of a domain running in mixed mode) that all of a sudden started rejecting connections over the network. I've played with the local security policies ensuring that I gave "everyone" the logon locally right. I've tried loging in as domain admin, pretty much tried every possible login, with no luck. Still I'm receiving the error,

============
\\server is not accessible.

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at theis computer.
============

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could possibly be the problem? Thank you in advance for any help.

The "access this computer from the network" permission must be granted. Vince Grice
