I am using a program that works with our Canon Imagerunner 3300. The program I am using is called Nettools Scangear 1.3. When I go to enter the IP address of the printer, 10.2.10.54, I get a message saying "IP address outside the subnet cannot be specified". Yet, I can ping that IP from the command prompt and I can also print to that printer. Also, my network workstation and that network printer reside on the same subnet. Any suggestions?

Followup:

I found version 2 of this software and was able to enter the IP address manually with no issues. Problem resolved.
