Canon Printer won't print

I have a BJC 2100 Canon printer that refuses to print. I am running Windows XP and have tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers. Any ideas?

Try and make sure the connections are correct and make sure the printer is the default printer.

Connections seem to be fine, and it is the default printer. It was being used on a home network, and I think something in that setup may be messed up, but I'm not too familiar with networks and may have missed something.
