canon ir7095 -s2 pcl driver functionality 1

I have a customer who has three large Canon iR's devices. Their particular print application requires them to be able to select the paper source from more than 4 sources and that page 3 - 4 be double sided whereas pages 1, 2 and 5 be single sided.

Both the PCL5e and PCL6 drivers will only allow you to select 4 different paper sources and select the whole job as either double sided or single sided.

Now, if the customer went down the Fiery option they could, of course, achieve this with ease using the EFI Postscript driver. My customer requires PCL as opposed to Postscript though.

Issue the command Esc a1G before pages 2, 3, and 6 instead of a page eject.
