canon 6500 form XP p prints small

XP pro pc produces roughly quarter size prints to the canon i6500 A3 printer. Later driver. Win 98 PC is fine. Anyone seen this or better still know of a fix.

Might be the wrong driver or driver settings- if the resolution's wrong by a factor of 2, you get 1/4 size.
