Hi all,

Can you please tell me why no entry created at errlog file after I force a disk unable to allocate the disk space.
Basically, it should be created a entry for allcoation unavailable error message at /var/adm/ras/errlog

However, I try to stop the errdaemon and start errdaemon, it can create a entry of errlog.

Please help me!!

I haven't found documentation of it, but I've observed on more than one occassion that once a filesystem has logged one "unable to allocate space" error, it won't log any more until it's been remounted or has had its size changed. This is probably to prevent flooding of the error log by a program that is really persistent about trying for more space on a full filesystem.
