Cannot View Stationery In Outlook Express

This is SO bizarre. I have used stationery and backgrounds in Outlook Express for the last three years. I have done so in XP also. BUT lately when I use a background or a stationery in my email other Outlook Express users cannot view it. They see the text only!!! This happens when I go to FORMAT> BACKGROUND> PICTURE and insert the background I want to use or if I use a stationery. The other ODD thing is that if I use a background that is 20 KB in size the email may only be 2 or 3 KB in size and it goes through very fast! I see it in my sent items folder or if I mail it to me (to test) I see the background and the size displays as 2 KB...it should be at least the same amount of KB in size as the background plus a few for the email itself. This is SO bizarre! Anyone have any ideas? Thank you. Please email me if you can help. ;>) im2dtailed
