I am running W2K Pro sp2 and IE 6 sp1. I can't view ftp folders. I can access the site fine. I have the IE setting "Enable folder view for ftp sites" checked. Another user on the same network, using the same proxy, with the same OS and IE settings can access ftp folders fine. I have searched MS knowledgebase and the closest I could get required uninstalling IE 6 which required uninstalling service packs which required uninstalling etc. etc, which you can't uninstall easiliy. MS articles (Q299893) & (Q293907). I've done all that. The next step as far as I can tell is reinstalling W2K. I can't find anywhere a reference to my exact problem.
