Cannot view Exchange Public Foders in Outlook

Folks,

I am getting the error when I try to expand public folders in outlook "Unable to expand the folder. the set of folders could not be opened. the attemp to log on to the microsoft exchange server computer has failed (server name)"

I can view other resources, send and receive emails.

Any ideas?

Have you verified in Exchange System manager that the Public Folder store is actually running? Check the permissions on the store to ensure users have rights to it.

If all of the above check out, run an offline defrag and ISINTEG on it to fix any errors in the database.
