Cannot view eventvwr or computer managment remotely

Win2003 SP1 Server. We cannot connect to the eventvwr or computer management console remotely from another PC on our domain (start - run - eventvwr - right click - choose connect to another computer) to this server only. Error message states "Network Path Not Found." I can ping and perform a nslookup fine for the server. This server was recently reinstalled with Win2003, since then we have not been able to connect remotely...applying SP1 did not help either. The Windows firewall and ICS services are also disabled on this server and the Remote Registry service is started. Thanks.

To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group, or have been delegated the appropriate authority, on the target computer. If the computer is joined to a domain, members of the Domain Admins group might be able to perform this procedure.
