When I am viewing an intranet with Mozilla it will not allow me to connect to pages that are actually hyperlinks to a shared drive on our LAN.

If I try and view the same thing in IE it does it no problem.

Anyone have any ideas????

Thanks in advance

Have you checked the code (html) on the pages to see if they are set to support Mozilla?

In short, No I havnt. To be honest I thought that a hyperlink to a local drive or folder would be just the same and would not have to be specially written for Mozilla?

The site has been produced by an employee so that could be the issue

Do you know how the code will look different for Mozilla, or what I should see different??

Thanks

There are several possible issues to this...

1. Security in Mozilla. Is there anything specific to these pages that may be blocked out? File downloads, images, etc...

2. Find out from the person who wrote these pages if they've been tested in Mozilla. To my knowledge, which isn't very large where Mozilla is concerned (just learning it myself), there isn't specific html changes. However, when moving from one browser to another, they all have different nuances and if they haven't been tested, it is possible that a tag which works perfectly in IE will not function in Netscape, Mozilla, or other broswers.
