Cannot use DVD

Looking in the Device Manager, I noticed I don't have a driver installed for VGA controller. I have a Toshiba Satellite 1800 laptop and am running Win XP. I don't exactly know why I don't have a VGA driver...

I think this may be something to do with why I can't play DVD's. Everything else seems to work OK.

Hope someone can help. I'll gladly supply more information if necessary.

I think i might have solved the problem I found the driver I needed. But the DVD still doesn't appear to work...

I'll get back to you on this, when I have more detailed information. Sorry to bother you needlessly.
