I have an MXe running 4.2. I am trying to upload my moh recordings and I keep getting an error (looks like java) that says "Access Problem. Verify the local path is valid (C:\fakepath\)." The title of the error says FTP error. Has anyone else come across this issue and found a fix. I am able to use filezilla and ftp to the controller. Can I just put the files in there using an ftp client?

I've read something about fakepath and IE8 recently.

These have a couple of useful suggestions

that worked, thanks.....I had already ruled that out since I did this a long time ago. I guess I reimaged my laptop since then or something.

Within your browsers security settings, confirm that “Include local directory path when uploading files to a server” is set to "Enabled"

I've seen this change with updating to newer version of IE. (From 8 to 9 specifically.)

This can also be fixed by putting the site into the trusted list.
