Cannot Uninstall Yahoo Toolbar and Browser featers on FireFox

I am running the current stable version of FireFox 1.5 and have had it for awhile...I have recently installed a beta version of Yahoo Messenger and I forgot to unclick the check mark where it askes to install Yahoo Toolbar and Yahoo Browser features.. now I have uninstalled the messenger and the toolbar is still there..

Is the Yahoo toolbar showing as a separate item in add/remove programs? Can you remove it that way?

it did show up like that..and i did remove it..and firefox still shows it on the browser...i also uninstalled the messenger and anything that says Yahoo and still shows up..i went ahead and unistalled firefox and reinstalled it and still shows up.. i don't know how to remove it..

I don't use the Yahoo toolbar. I've got the Google one that Firefox installs on my personal notebook but I don't have it at work today so this is just a stab in the dark. Under view ->toolbars can you deselect it there?

Are there any folders related to Yahoo in program files that need to be deleted manually?

I can select not to use it under toolbars but I don't want... and I uninstalled it and it seems that the uninstall doesn't work.. I looked under the program folder for firefox and saw nothing that was easy for me to recognize for yahoo toolbar.. and looked under the programs folder and didn't see the yahoo toolbar folder..

Just figured it out... it seems that Yahoo apart from using the regular program to install yahoo toolbar, it also installs an extension verion to your firefox browser..so you have to not only uninstall it from the control panel but you also have to go into tools under extenstions in firefox and remove it from there too...
