Hi guys,
Background info -
Had a machine with SQL SVR 2008 STD installed on.
Then installed SQL SVR 2005 STD on it.
The 2005 install, altohugh worked, didnt have complete functionality (Visual Studio 2005 wasn't installed?!...)
Looked online and answer seemed to be that it was because of the order that they were installed in. Recommended action was to uninstall both then REinstall in correct order...
1) SQL 2005 (with SSIS and as such VS 2005)
2) Apply any Service packs
3) SQL 2008 (with SSIS and as such VS 2008)
...so i tried to do this... however...
2008 seemed to uninstall fine from 'add remove programs' in control panel... altohugh it seems to have left visual studio behind.
Now both VS 2008 AND SQL 2005 do not appear in the add/remove programs area.... any ideas how to uninstall without that option?
Cheers guys.
