Using Crystal reports 8.5, the PDBDAO.DLL data access driver to connect to a Microsoft Access database:

I have a report and a single subreport linked on a single parameter. The report works fine *except* I cannot find a way to left-join the report and the table used by the subreport. In the linking expert the "left join" option is grayed out. As a result, the report is only showing records with matching subreport records, and this is not what I want!

How do I change this?

Thanks for any help!

I believe that you need to pick a different driver. Pick SQL/ODBC when it asks you for a data source. If you pick Data File, the driver that you get is not going to allow anything other than an inner join.

Changed to the Active Data driver--works perfectly now.

Thanks!
