Cannot Set Default Page Orientation in IE8

Hello

We are running IE version 8.0.6001.18702 on Windows XP Pro SP3. Whenever we print we always need to set the page orientation from landscape to portrait.

We even try to set the default orientation to portrait under File / Page Setup. However, if we exit IE8 and then re-enter or select a different printer, it will always go back to landscape mode.

I can not say exactly when this began to occur but I have been having it for sometime now. I guess I have reached the limit of my acceptance on this strange behaviour.

Have you tried quitting IE, and setting the printing defaults for your printer in the control panel?
