Hi
I just inherited a PowerMac G3 desktop with OS 9.1. We are connected to a file server through the network and I also need to be able to dialup to the internet using the bult-in modem. I set up the tcpip for ethernet and connected to our network. I then setup remote access for dialup by setting the tcpip properties for PPP. I immediately lose my network connection, but the modem works on the intenet. When I am done on the
intenet, I have to change the tcpip back to ethernet and reconnect to the network, but the modem will no longer work on the intenet. I need both resources at the same time, as I often email files from the server and it's also a pain to keep reconfiguring the connections. What do I need to do to fix this?
