I have a user that is having zip files that he sends to other users as attachments stripped from his email. The message he receives is "Symantec Mail Security replaced CannonTest.zip with this text message. The original file was unscannable and was quarantined." The user can send other attachments such as doc and bmp. I went to Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange on my Exchange server and noted that all the user's zip files are being quarantined due to the Unscannable File Rule filter. Additionally, I have had several other users to send attached zip files to me and all have been sucessful. I had this user to send zip file digitially signed and not digitially with the same results. On the emails with an attached zip file he digitially signed there is a message that says, "Error: The message contents may have been altered." Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue. Not sure if its a problem with his certificates, which all looks ok, or configuration of the zip file. I had to to create several zip file and send to me with the same results.
