Cannot send Ctrl-Alt-Del to some clients

I often have this problem - install the client and I can remote control the client fine however the send ctrl-alt-del button does not work. This doesn't help for servers as there is nobody at these machines. Anyone know what causes this and how I get around it? I know sometimes re-installing the client sorts it out but I want to know why it's happening. Also does it have anything to do with my system where I'm controlling from? Thanks in advance!!

Could you please specify which version of SMS you are using ?

SMS20 SP4. I found an article on microsoft regarding kbstuff. It said in some cases one should reboot the pc after the client has been installed. I did this and it worked in this case but other times it doesn't.

You should also make sure that the kbstuff.sys is the proper version.
