I recently downloaded some illustrator files that I found on various sites and on some of them, it won't let me select the entire image, only a few parts get selected. On other images, a pencil appears with an oblique bar crossing it, not letting me selecting the artwork. It is the first time that I see this. How can I get around this? I am using Illustrator 10. I appreciate any help, thanks.
