Cannot see excel formats

Bit confused on this one!<br>
When using Access97 and wish to import an excel97 file, I Cannot see excel formats? only see mdb and odbc formats.<br>
Anyone know why?<br>
I have re-installed office97 so many times i'm getting bored of it.<br>
All other machines in my office have no probs at all importing from excel but only this one machine (win95).<br>
Is there a function in win95 i can check compared to the other machines that i have missed out,if so please let me know before i chuck this machine out the window.<br>
