I just clean installed Win2K. One of the first applications I installed was Norton AntiVirus (2000 6.0). It seems to work properly, except I cannot schedule a virus scan event, the program bombs out on me ("Error saving the scheduled event. You may be out of disk space, or have a corrupted Schedule.Dat file"). I am not out of disk space, that's not the problem. (I am able, however, to schedule a virus definition update event.) On the Symantec support pages they tell you to: Replace schedule.ini
1. Uninstall Norton AntiVirus
2. Search for and rename all copies of schedule.ini the schedule.old.
3. Reinstall Norton AntiVirus

When I try to uninstall, however, I get a "VAVNT.ISU is missing or corrupt" error. What do I do?

Yokum,

Find the file VAVNT.ISU and rename it to something else .old or something. Then try to uninstall.
