Windows 2003 Small Business Server SP2.
PowerMac11,2.

Mac can view entire contents of network share by using "Go / Connect to Server" via afp://sbsipaddress

When user is importing images from SBS into an application or is saving data from application to network share the Mac seems to crash and does not save the data.

Users also reporting that not all files within a shared folder are always visible when browsing using an application but are always visible when connecting to the server direct.

Any help much appreciated!

I have tried connecting to the volume by using smb but the password appears to be rejected?

Erm...the authentication will still be to their AD user account so it should be the same. Have them try their AD alias name rather than login name.
