Some of you may laugh at my request, but my computer no longer saves internet documents or graphics. I have tried the right click > Save as > Save way, but before (about 2 weeks ago) my download manager would come up, and confirm the document was saved.

I asked another site, and they said my cache my be full. I assumed he meant the list of items in my download manager program, so I did a search for it. When I saw "Downloadmanager" I saw it had an icon from a program I donwloaded about 4 years ago that was for DiabloII. It's not a virus because I double checked it, but either the correct download manager isnt showing up or the old program has absorbed the download manager or something, because when I clicked on downloadmanager the old DII program came up instead. Could someone please help me out?

I would clear my Internet cache (just to be sure), and reinstall the download manager.
Might have to reinstall the browser too.

You say it's not a virus, but did you do a virus check ? What about spyware ? Did you check that too ?

Pascal.

(windows 2000/xp) within internet explorer: tools->internet options. under the general tab, there will be a "delete files" button. click it. it will "hourglass" for a whiile. after its done, click "settings" button and increase the disk space limit used for files.

Would echo Pascal - virus and spyware scans in order here (use several anti-spyware apps - eg, adaware, spybot and MS AntiSpyware).
