I run XP and therefore have 3 desktops on my computer. I can run spybot on my desktop, but cannot run this program on my son's desktop. No matter how many times I download it from different mirrors or save to differnt fodlers, everytime I try to run it, it gets locked out. Does anybody have a clue what is going on? I keep running cwshredder and hijack this on the desktop hoping to clean up whatever is there, but it's not working to let spybot run.
Thanks.

How about posting the Hijack This! log results?

Have you tried either running spybot in safe mode or running the cwssmartkiller utility in the link I posted above? One of the things I see above is clear search and I know spybot gets that one if you can get it to run.

Please go here:

And run the listed steps. Repost a HJT log afterwards.
