I am running Redhat 7.2, have just installed apache 2.0, all seemed to go alright except I now cannot run apachectl, all i get is "Command not found". I am trying to run it from the directory it is in and it is set as an executable. I can run httpd to start the server.

If you are running it from the directory it is in, you need to type ./ before apachectl without a space. If it works, then the directory that it's in is not in your path. You can move it or create a symlink.
