Would appreciate help. Tried to smitty restart64. No luck what so ever

Well, smitty restart64 enables 64bit environment after a reboot. Did you restart the system since then?

Or else: smitty load64bit, choose "Enable Now" and press enter.

HTH,

p5wizard

Thanks p5wizard. No luck with smitty restart64, smitty load64bit. Any application with 64bit won't work. It was ok before reboot. We had this issue once before and resolved by bosboot -ad /dev/ipldevice. Not this time. reboot manytime. Same issue. Working with vendor now.

Have to re-install OS again as mksysb itself is corrupt.

you just need to enable 64bit,
problem:

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program ./sqlplus because of the following errors:
0509-033 Cannot run a 64-bit program until the 64-bit
environment has been configured. See the system administrator.
------------------------------------------------
solution:

bash-3.00# smitty load64bit
Enable 64-bit Application Environment

Move cursor to desired item and press Enter.

Enable Now
Enable/Disable at System Restart

choose Enable Now
and that's it
