I have users reporting that they cannot right-click in the right pane of Outlook, but they are able to in the left pane. They are also able to get the right-click menu if they have multiple selections. This is really stumping me, any ideas?

Thanks,

Have you looked to have someone actually show you the problem? Until you know what the problem is and can describe in detail what is happening, it is awfully hard for others to help, and want us to spend our time helping.

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

Yes, I actually looked at the problem. You'll notice, I described the symptoms here:

they cannot right-click in the right pane of Outlook, but they are able to in the left pane. They are also able to get the right-click menu if they have multiple selections

I corrected it by starting Outlook in Safe Mode and the restarting in Normal mode.

Thanks,

Yeah, I'm glad you fixed it, I saw what you said, but as franklin pointed out, I noticed the big "reported" statement. "Reported" isn't the same as, "I have an issue I have seen with my own 2 eyes"

We're not sure how many users this was affecting, was it happening in only one folder veruses all folders... etc...

Whatever, glad you fixed it.
