I have 2 IPO systems, both are v8.0.43. I am trying to setup a user in system A to retrieve voicemail messages for a hunt group programmed in system B. The user in system A is a member of the hunt group in system B. I programmed "H(Hunt group name)" in the source number of the user. When I leave a message in the mailbox, the user can see the mailbox when she presses her message key but it shows as being busy. I also reversed it, programming the hunt group in system A with a user in system B with the same result, however if the user is in the same system as the hunt group it works just fine. Any help would be appreciated.

I have exact the same problem with 8.1.65. I have a user at sita A were the VM Pro resides, a distributed hunt group on site B group Tech 600.
If I set HTech and VTech as sourcenumbers then the group Tech shows as busy, If I set HTech and V600 the the visual VM Button shows the message numbers 1/0/0 as with local mailboxes. Pressing the Visual Voice button to listen to messages then the options like Listen don't work.
I have used a 1508 extension for this test and a 9611, this extension shows always busy.
Logging the same user on a extension in site B enables the feature and i can listen to the messages.
Definetly a bug, we have no IPOSS so I won't report to Avaya. That withold the change for Avaya to build a better product [sleeping2]

And what if you leave the V entry out? I have never since I started used the V entry for group VM only the H, but then we never use Intuity :)

Makes no difference, in sysmon I see the user access VM box ?Tech but no audio or additional visual voice buttons as on a local group.
Our VM machines always run IP Office mode unless Intuity is needed for special features.

I have tried both H(hunt group name) and H(hunt group number). Both had the same result. I did not try using the V

Just an FYI. I set up 2 brand new systems at my office, both v8.1.63. I networked (SCN)them and programmed hunt groups in each system. I programmed a hunt group and user in each system with each user's source number programmed for both of the hunt groups. After leaving messages in each of the hunt groups, I was only able to retrieve the message for the hunt group that was programmed on the same system as the user I was trying to retrieve it from. I am not able to retrieve messages from the hunt group on the other system. Thanks for the replies, I appreciate the input. If anyone hears anything else about this, please let me know.
