Cannot Retreive VM Messages

I have an IP Office Hybrid. I am using an IP Office box but with digital phones. I have an IP400 Digital Station. On one of my phones I have messages. When I log onto the voice mail it says I have 32 messages. When I press 2 to retreive my messages It says I have no messages. If I log onto the PC and go to my computer. I can go to the directory that holds the users messages. There are indeed 32 messages in the directory. I can play a WAV file to listen but I can not listen through the phone. I have deleted this user and put the extension back with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions.

have you tried restarting the v/mail server?

I had this problem numerous times and the only fix I foulnd was to upgrade the system. You can also use Visual VM as a button or system wide setting and get msgs that way.

I deleted the mailbox on the VM server for that user which contained the messages. I then deleted the user and extension. After rebooting the VM server I replaced the user and the extension and currently I can get messages.
