Cannot restore server drives after software reload

After removing an Internet dialer Backup Exec became corrupt. After reloading software, the drives on the server and backup server are gray and inaccessible. I cannot restore the files to the server. Does anyone have a clue? Backup Exec 7.0 Winnt Server 4.0 sp5.
