Cannot restore data

Hallo,

I want to restore some data from tape 4mm Sony 12GB. We use Backup Exec 8.5 on Windows 2000 Server.
When I open the restore tab, there is no tape or data available.
When I switch to the tape, and select restore, a message apperars, that the tape has to be catalogised before. This runs without a problem but afterwards it is still not possible to restore data. It keeps telling me, that the page has to be catalogised before.

I tries to restart the services and also the server, but no change.

Any ideas?

Ok, problem was solved.

I changed the name of the catalog path and suddenly, I was able to restore the data after catalogising went fine

maybe the changing of administrator password caused that trouble?!
