Hi there,
I have a Domain Controller with DFS running MS Server 2000 SP4.
Users Cannot Rename a File or a Folder on a DFS Share but they can Delete it . It applies only to the Domain Users group. Domain Admin can rename and delete on a DFS share. All Domain Users have "Full Control" on the Share and on NTFS there.

There's a MS Kowledge base Article 319365 on that
But when I called they said that it does not apply to SP4.
Any suggestions? Thanks,
Oleg

What is the error they get?

Thanks Brandon,

I was able pinpoint it to the Dell's 3-rd party (Wave Systems Corp.) fingerprint reading software that came preinstalled on these Latitude 530s. I shut it's services down and got my DFS access back.

Thanks
Oleg
