Bought a new hard drive, used maxblaster to make it the system drive.
After the installation, Office XP was not running so tried the normal removal through Control panel.
I get an error message indicating that I am missing C:\program Files\officeupdate11\cabs\511974
When I put the Office XP CD in the drive it will not start the installation progeam and when I double click on setup.exe, I get the same error
There is an note on the dialog that indicated the missing file is 511974.mainsp3op.msp
I have the directory on my hard drive but the file is not there.
The message in the dialog also indicates that the file is on a network connection that is not available.
Can anyone help?
