Cannot remember the password for VPN 200R Symantec 1

The technitian who configured the Firewall/VP cannot remember the password to access the interface. Can I manually reset the password without having to affect the rest of the configuration. I need to go into the setup to open up a port but I cannot get into it without the password. Can somebody help...thanks

we are using symantec VPN/firewall model 200R

Doing this will not erase all of your settings, it will only erase the password and reset the lan subnet and DHCP to the default. All other configurations will be retained in memory.

After you have done this, you will need to change the lan subnet and DHCP back to the correct settings, and set up a new password.
