For some reason, I cannot move the report width over - THis report was previously used in landscape... I used it as a starting point for another report - I cannot drag from the right - I even selected all and deleted and still could not drag over ... any other ideas what could be wrong? thanks!!

Have you got a line? They can be almost invisible for one reson or another. You can select by clicking on the top rules towards the right of the page or by using the control list dropdown on the toolbar.

Or turn off the grid dots under the view menu for a clean view.

Depression is merely anger without enthusiasm.

When I run the report there are no lines - stupid question... I cannot find the control list dropdown - what toolbar is that in ??? thanks!!

It should be on the Formatting toolbar in design view, probably on the left of the toolbar.

That worked - thanks!!!! I was going out of my mind.. One over question - in prior versions of access you could click to the left of a row of fields to highlight all of them.... It does not seem that you can do that anymore... can you?

Thanks again Remou!!!

By 'to the left' do you mean on the ruler? I think this still works up to 2003, I am not sure what the case is with 2007. Have a look at Options on the Forms/Reports tab to see if Selection Behviour is set to Partially Enclosed. I do not know if this would affect thigs, but it might.

That fixed the problem - thanks again for all of your help!!!!!
