Recently, I started getting a Norton Anti-Virus pop up message every day stating "Cannot read subscription data. You may need administrator privileges." When I open Norton Anti-Virus, there is a green check mark to the left of Subscription Service. However, it also states "Not Installed" to the right of Subscription Services. I have SystemWorks 2003, running Windows XP Home. I am the only person who uses my computer. How can this problem be rectified?

Something to try, If you are running a software firewall with application protection, you may have terminated the application. Disconnect from the internet and uninstal your firewall and reload. If this is the case you will have train your firewall be allowing Symantec live up dates, and that norton S.W. is connected to the internet.
good luck.

I get the same message and i don't run any FW.I also didn't do any changes in NSW and i have the latest Updates installed.

I posted a solution for this problem in the Norton Antivirus FAQ.
